Bell Strike Unit - Type 1 Our Type 1 bell striking system is designed to operate up to two 400W electromagnetic-hammers to strike "Ting Tang" or the relevant number of blows to indicate the hour. The unit is pre-programmed prior to despatch with weekday / weekend night silencing. Striking is synchronised with the atomic time signal via an external receiver and will automatically adjust for BST / GMT changes.
